LOOKED, LOOK, LOOKING

Through video and sculpture Looked, Look, Looking encourages the viewer to re-evaluate their relationship with nature and how they interact with the natural world surrounding them. Sustainability and appreciating nature without exploitation is at the heart of this project. The short film delves into natural environments perceiving them through various perspectives and explores both human and non-human vision. Looked, Look, Looking’s sculptural element utilises naturally occurring materials including glycerine and clay to preserve organic matter. The film and sculpture work together to stimulate the senses and invite the viewer to experience this interpretation of the natural world via olfactory, auditory and visual elements.
